I dont really have a set temperature I just feel them and squish them a little to make sure they are warm all the way through. Make sure they dont get too hot or they'll explode and man that is one of the NAST-IEST things to clean up. hahaha You didnt ask but I'll tell ya the way I thaw mine out so you'll have an idea. I put them in ziplock baggies in the refrigerator overnight to thaw out and then I heat them up the next day.

Hey Jimmyg,
As long as they are completely thawed and feel wrm to your touch, then they should be fine.

I seperate mine into individual ziplock baggies and fill the sink up with hot water.
It usually takes one sink full to thaw and a refill of hot water to get them warmed up for feeding.
As for popping, like Karen said, it is MESSY!
Some times they pop when ya pick them up and most of the time on the initial strike from the snake.
Clean up is a pita as they stink when turned inside out, so don't nuke them or boil them.
And hope your snake doesn't hit as hard as mine do at times.

i thaw mine in warm/hot sink water as the others have described. Just before I put it in the feed tote, I hold it under a CHE for a minute or two to make sure it's nice and warm
