Re: Who's your pickiest eater?

True. I don't know what I do!
Then again, Gizmo is picky too.. He won't touch bugs, AT ALL.

Re: Who's your pickiest eater?

My female Pseustes is beyond a picky eater she has refuse live and dead mice pinks, fuzzies and hoppers. Live and dead hamster and asfr, pinks and fuzzies. live and dead rat pinks. Live and dead guppies and Goldfish, anoles, tree frogs (cuban, grey and green), Skinks, Fence lizards, and Alligator lizards. FT quail and chick parts. I'm going to throw some crickets in there today and see if that works.

I've tried all the tricks, small tight delicup food overnight, hanging from the trees, tease feeding, and a ton I can't remember at the moment.

I've resorted to force feeding every 20th day and re-trying old failed methods every ten days. If she still refuses on the 20th day I stuff a couple pinkies down her throut she eats them and poo's good 2 days later.

On another note her male sibling eats anything offered every time.

Stupid snakes LOL

Nate

Re: Who's your pickiest eater?

My two Mojave ball pythons, hands down. My female Mojave is the worst I've had to deal with, she was supposed to be slamming down f/t rats like crazy and since I've had her (since last April) she hadn't once, willingly touched a rat for me. I had to get her eating on live mice and sneaking a f/t rat into her mouth just to get a decent meal into her.

Hoping the ASFs I'm raising up will turn her around to better food items.

Re: Who's your pickiest eater?

My 1.5 yr old female Jungle Carpet python, Kaiya... She absolutely hates rats, actually flees the scent of them. Oh, and she will only eat regularly if fed after 11:30 pm. She's a real punk.
