This is a really dumb question, but does anyone think a boa could learn to eat fruits\vegetables like an iguana? It's a far out idea, but I was just wondering? Not only will you not be able to teach a boa to eat fruits and veggies, he will die if you try. Snakes are totally carnivirous (sp) which means they have evolved (or been created) to eat nothing but whole animals. Eating whole animals is the ONLY way a snake can consume the protiens, minerals, etc he needs to live. He is genetically designed to eat that way and a mere human in a snake's lifetime can not modify the way God and Nature designed the snake to eat.

You're right. I just was speculating.
