Re: Question on what to feed.
I would trade the sharp ended tweezers for something blunt. If your snake strikes and hits the sharp end....it could be bad. Stick with the girth feeding rule ... feed prey the size of the largest girth of your snake.
You won't win any points for feeding live.

Re: Question on what to feed.
I would use my bare hands before the sharp tweezers. If you don't have a blunt tool, take a piece of cardboard....punch a small hole in it (big enough for the tail to go through) and use it as a sheild to protect your hand.

Re: Question on what to feed.
Okay.
Thanks, don't know why I didn't think about the sharpness.

Re: Question on what to feed.
Ok, tongs bought.
Now my final question.
How long should it usually take to poop?
It hasn't pooped and tomorrow is the fifth day, should I go ahead and feed if it does not in the next two? Or wait till it poops?

Re: Question on what to feed.
I'm not sure why, but there seems to be much concern over poop.
I don't concern myself with poop. If it goes in, it comes out.
To answer your question: they can poop in a week or it can take weeks.
