I got my milk to eat an eviscerated mouse today. I still haven't worked with the BP. I've got to go see an old friend, and when I get back, I'll try my luck with him. I was ecstatic, though. I put him in the tote, took the mouse (which I had killed about 5 minutes beforehand), eviscerated him, and put him into the tote with the snake. I checked up on him about ten minutes later... No luck. So I just started doing things in my bedroom for about an hour and a half, and then when I checked up on him again, I couldn't see a mouse, but I DID notice a large bulk in him. I was absolutely elated. I wasn't too optimistic... But luck finally was with me today. I've got to go now. I'll tell you if I had any luck with the BP later!

now by eviscerated you mean sliced open?.. belly?.. head?..
ive heard of "braining" pinks to get certain picky feeders to eat (especially small corns, kings and other tiny hatchlings).. but never evisceration.. where'd ya hear about it?

Abdominal and chest area... BTW, when I say evisceration, I don't mean disembowelment... Some people get the two confused. Just sliced open. I found out about it on accident, actually. I've told this story before, but since I don't remember what post you can find it in, I'll tell it again.
OK, it's my first time killing a mouse. I have no idea how to do it. I drop the mouse into a pillow sack. I take him out onto the back porch. I hit the wall with the sack... TWHACCK! Stupid error. I open up the sack... Mousey entrails all over the place... Ewww... So I try my hardest to pack the entrails back into said mouse, albeit to no real avail... Most of it is sticking out of the mouse. I figure, "my snake's not going to eat this." But I drop it in anyway, just on a whim I suppose... And he eats it within five minutes. BTW, it was a gopher.

BTW, the BP did not eat. But he's going into a shed, so I'm almost certain that's why. That #$%^$%^$%^$%^& hamster cost me $7... A lot of money when you only make all of $125 a month, lol... Oh well. I'll try again 3 days after his shed

It's a non-feeder atm...has been for awhile even. Is most likey wc also. The other rodents you have mentioned have been tried to no avail thus far. In the wilds the ball pythons actually eat what is called a Gerboa [ splg??] and a hampster is similar somewhat to these. Non-feeding ball pythons will usually take a hampster more readily than a mouse or rat. That's why it's being offered hampsters atm.
