Well, this is probably a believe it or not story, but those who know me no I'm not making this up. Every once in a while I'll take my snakes outside, just to cruise around. Well, I took my albino cali king outside so he could just fly through the tall grass. I'm meaning to get pics of him lately but just haven't got around to it. AnyHOW, all of a sudden he takes off around the fence we have in the backyard. I'm hopping the fence to get him, it's all field so I wasnt' worried. And before I could get there he had a legless lizzard (I don't what they call them, I don't know my lizards for squat) by the head and had to coils around him. I was like crap what do I do? He's already starting to eat the thing. Well, I kind of figured it was a nature thing and let him polish the lizard off. Does that make me an evil person?? I wish I had pics, it was simply amazing to see up close. I can't recommend it but man if you ever get the chance to see something like that, it's different than a mouse. And this lizardwas like inbetween 1/2 and 3/4 the size of my king. I don't know, but it was cool to see but I felt bad because I wanted to add the lizard to my collection and get pics of it for all of you guys. It was a really cool green color. Well, I guess that makes me evil, but I'd figure I'd just share my story. This might get moved to the colubrid section I don't know....
can anyone find a pic of this lizard?? I've been searching and found legless lizards. just not like the one I saw....

wow, that is cool.
sort of,
bummer that he got a hold of it before you got to really look at it,
but kingsnakes are by design reptile consumers, so other than the inherent risk of endo parasites, its perfectly natural.
well, a cal king eating a eastern glass lizard, maybe not, but eating a lizard sure.
did you get to see the head of the lizard?
