hmmm, no response yet. I'll give it a try,
My new snake is beign a bit of a problen feeder, but he's the first one thats given me trouble, so I'm not a very experienced souce, but htis is what i know.
freshly killed has a "better" smell than f/t, and most snakes are willing to take it if you "wiggel them" I think that its wirth trying f/t first, then if they don't take it right away, use fresh-killed as a in-between stage
exposing the brain is suposed to really work. its the next thing I'm going to try on my little guy, but i haven't actually used this technique myself yet
As for killing them i've heared that you can co2 them (i think that would take a long time). as for snapping their nect i heared it is really easy to do...
place mouce on counter or similar surface, place a solid ruler behind the pase of the squll, pin its head down, give the body a quick jerk back to dislocate the spine.
Again i havent done it myself, but thats how i was told to do it.
Another tip i picked up was to touch the mouses nose to a heat lamp to create a concentrated heat sourse... and touching the mouses nose to the snakes.
p.s. sorry if there are a bunch of spelling mistakes in the post, spell checker doesn't work on this comp
Good luck

wish me the same
