I know the answer to this is scattered throughout the forums, but it'll take me hours for find everything. So, can everyone answer and let me know what is good and what isn't good to feed feeders which in turn is good for Ted, my RTB? For example, while I know that dog food with red dye is a no-no, what about dog food without red dye? Thanks All!

I've heard rodent lab block is the best. It's pretty cheap and you can buy it in bulk. I don't know about the big chain petstores, but I have seen them in the small mom & pop pet stores. Dog food manufacturers add al sorts of chemicals and other stuff to their food anyway.

Sorry, quick clarification....I'm not breeding the rats. I just want to ask the various places where I pick up feeders what they feed them - so I know what's going into Ted. He's doing F/K right now and I plan on converting him to F/T soon. But in the meantime, I want what's best for him. Thanks, guys.
