My 2 male boas are great about being picked up after feeding, I'm talking about removing them from the feed box back to the cage. My female is a different story, she acts like she wants take a bite of me. Anyone else with this situation?

Eh, some of them just do that.... I think maybe they've still got feeding on the mind. I'm assuming you wash your hands if you've been handling rodents, correct? I suppose you could try moving slowly when ya reach in, or if worse comes to worse use gloves?

You can do a couple of things.
Either wait a while till she gets out of the food strike mode, put a towel over her head and then pick up, or give her an extra food item every few feedings, smaller than normal though.

Another thing that can help is to clean the feeding tote with a bleach mix to eliminate food smells from it. I clean mine every couple of feedings, or after every feeding depending on how messy the food is ( wet or bloody).

Yes I wash my hands before removing her. She hasn't bitten me yet, once she realizes its my hand she backs off a little. I know female Peruvians can be very moody, she's still my sweetheart though.

Thanks for the advice eddie. I haven't cleaned the tote in awhile, just changed the paper.

My Bredli is snappy even 45 mins after finishing
his meal ,now I let him sit for 10 mins then gently
tip him out of the feeding container onto the floor.
He seems to instantly lose the attitude.

maybe they just associate the feed tote with always being fed so never quite get out of that mode. Tipping them out gently onto the floor may help. Or a towel so you can transport her to her cage. Well, depending on how big she is.

2 words SNAKE HOOK!!! If shes gonna tag something let it be the hook. plus touching her with a metal object almose instantly takes away their feeding response.
