they can easily eat hamsters, i've fed some of my snakes hamsters before but i would not recommend them , if you were to get your snake/monitor stuck on hamsters, they will get hooked on them and it will be extremely hard to switch them back over too mice/rats. which with this it will becomes a very expensive animal to feed. i would recommend them a treat or just totally not at all.

well good luck with whatever you choose

I was actually wondering the same thing until i came across a post about a year ago someone had their snake hooked on hamsters. i was planning on doing the same thing until somone mentioned how they are like candy to snakes. They dont have near as much nutrients as rats do. Plus when you snake gets larger you will need rats anyways. So the best thing to do would to just figure out the males and females of your hamsters and just keep them seperate and away from the snakes.

hjamsters are bad for snakes. they are like us eating candy. if you start them on hamsters you will have a heck of a time switching them to rats or mice. hamstrs are bad for them nutrition wise!

lmao.... this is classic.
A common thing you see on reptile message boards is the "Can I do something I have every intention of doing anyway?" post. Usually the poster has already made up their mind about x, and is just looking for someone to tell them it's okay to do so. After 8 years of dealing with internet herpers, it still amazes me.
