Voice Chat! Everyone read
Ok I know the idea to some people seems weird and seems doubtfull...but its worth a shot.
I have setup and run Teamspeak for over a year now for Game teams. Its a awesome application that works in Windows and Linux. Real simple to use.
First if you want to try it go to http://www.teamspeak.org/ Download the client for Windows if your on a Windows machine or the Linux version if your on Linux.
Once you get Teamspeak installed open the application up and go to the connection menu, select "Connect". In that window set the Label as "Redtailboa.net" and the server address as Redtailboa.net also. Put your nickname in and select anonymous. Hit connect and go to the Redtailboa.net Channel. Once your in there go to the Self Menu and select "Register with Server". All you need to do at that point is select a username and password. Put that information in next time you connect!
Enjoy and don't dog it till you try it. Its actually really nice and even works with a 56K modem!!

that sound cool but like you said you need a mic and i dont have one maybe ill have to go get one now

You can pick up a decent mic at Best Buy or Circuit City for like 8 bucks.
Now we can have that RTB belching contest we've always dreamt of.

just for those of you who didnt know you dont absolutely have to talk in the room there is a option for typing in messages you just need to right click on the room and click "send text message to channel" and it will show to everyone in the bottom portion of the trio of screens
(which is also handy if you're having issues setting up your microphone)
