Album bugs..

Still having the log in issues with the new albums...
I log into albums.. it logs me off the site..
I log into the site and it lets me in the albums, logged in sometimes, most times not.. but once logged back into albums, it logs me off the site again.
If you enter the album by anywhere other than the gallery link on the top of the site, the log in for the albums will not work.

Picture sizes...
I loaded various sized pictures last night..
It accepts my smallest and largest, yet resizes the medium sized pics, to small ones..

Examples-

640x480 stayed 640x480
800x600 becomes 640x480
1024x768 becomes 640x480
1280x1024 stays 1280x1024
1600x1200 stays 1600x1200

The albums also do not accept or load movie files.
Will this be changing soon?

I will look into the image resize thing and let the developer know about this.

The other bug I'm not sure on. I did some heavy testing with IE myself and all bugs appeared to be gone.

What version of IE and Windows are you running? This maybe a IE bug that we maynot be able to get rid of.

Eddie do you have the latest version of IE off of MS's Windows update site?

I've noticed the same bug. Also, just wondering if you got my email concerning pics in one of my albums that aren't mine.

FYI: you can now add .mov, .mpg and .wmv files. I just need to check on avi to see if it needs anything special

BTW for everyone reading this. This bug mentioned above is just a annoying bug...not a show stopping bug. Also this bug seems to only appear for certain people running IE. Not all.

And the bug seems to not show up at all with people using Mozilla, Netscape, Opera or Safari.

Yeah, the login thing's not a big deal, just figured I'd mention it so Eddie didn't think he was he only one with the problem. I deleted the pics that weren't mine, but the pics that should be there, aren't. Can you transfer them over? The old album is at http://photo.redtailboa.net/albus42.

I had the same login issue as eddie said. Here is what I found.

If you go to the site via http://www.redtailboa.net then click the link it jumps you to http://redtailboa.net which messes up the cookies in IE. However, if you go into the site by http://redtailboa.net then login it will keep the same cookie over to the gallery area.

Thanks Toker, what you said worked, but you have to make sure and clean out all old redtail boa cookies first. However, and this is really wierd, we stay logged in while moving back and forth between forums and gallery, and if we close IE or go to another site while in the forums we stay logged in. HOWEVER, if we close IE or leave the site from the gallery and then come back, we are not logged in. The cookie is still in the temporary internet file, but is not being recognized/used by IE. Any ideas anybody?

Yes this is a known bug about closing the browser. I think I may have found the problem causing this. I will be testing it out today to make sure this is it.

If not I have let the writers of the software know about the issue so they can look into it.

Like I said no show stopping bugs are here....just annoying things that we will work through.
