QUESTION: Would a mod/admin explain the Rep Points & Green Dots?

OK, now I'm really confused! I just went to the User CP and looked at my options. It says:

"You currently have 135 reputation points."

Yet, my Rep Power says I have 48. Is there some sort of conversion OR is something wrong with the Rep Power cfg.? It's NOT a huge deal, but I would like to know.

after so many points it turns into a green dot. reputation points turn into rep power after you get so many. do you understand?

The way most sites use it is if you have a high rep then people will trust what you post.

I would assume there is some sort of conversion Charlie, Rep Power and Rep Points are different. I just wish I could tell you what the conversion is...

This one in particular explains it pretty well and would explain why the Rep Power and Points don't have one simple conversion. There are a lot of different factors that go into it.
