Rep Power?

I noticed that some people that are regular rtb users have 1 rep power and others have none, what are rep power and what are they used for?

Like me for instance, lol I get pm'd for advise an all but get non lol NOt that care but sa I see some people with just 1 or 2 post with rep power???
I have asked staff the same thing though it appeasrs it a popularity contest Bawhaw!!

if you help someone or something like that you hit the scale by the person who helped you. then you give them rep power. it is just like a kind of thank you thing.

You have to get a certain number of positive additions to your rep before your rep level will increase.

Let's not turn this into a "click my rep" game. Let's give rep points where rep points are due, not just to get numbers up. I give rep points when people make an intelligent post that would be generally helpful to herp owners.
