Which figures....:-D ]]> Just Talk Sliding Scales http://www.redtailboa.net/forums/just-talk/64217-stargazer-veronicas-cartoon-feature-film.html no http://www.redtailboa.net/forums/just-talk/64203-she-ate.html Sun, 25 Jul 2010 20:40:02 GMT last night i had posted that chance has not ate since january 9th. mpgt said something and so did Tom that got me thinking. mpgt said i know chance better then anyone else and tom said maybe she quit eating cause i quit spending a lot of time with her like i use to. i know many veteran snake owners would not agree with this but they are WRONG! i got up today and kept in mind what both members said. i put off laundry and everything else that was on my to do list before returning to work and i spent the day with chance. she sat on my lap while i was on the computer, we watched a movie together like we use to and the whole time i was thawing a rat, this is a big no no in the herp world. wait a week or two before trying to feed them cause it will stress them out. many hours later (5 to be exact) i added hot water to the rat and i sat on the floor with chance and i told her ' mommy loves you more then anything in this world and i am so sorry that i let life get in the way of playing with you all the time, please eat for me and it will never ever happen again. then i told her please dont make me go the rest of my life without you, i need you in my life' and my tears were falling on her head. i told her we have been through so many hard times together and i would not have made the whole GA ordeal without you. i just kept petting her head and talking to her. i put her back in her cage and i actually got on my hands and knees ( i have only done this one other time and it was when my child was very sick) and i prayed and begged god. this is what happened.


i can honestly say i have never cried so many tears of happiness.

I have just come across your Big Bump page whilst surfing the net. The pictures are truly fascinating. I’m currently doing some research on African Rock Pythons for a potential TV series for the Natural History channel (UK) who specialise in wildlife filmmaking all over the globe.

We will be looking to film an African Rock python in captivity and one in the wild to demonstrate and compare particular behavioural aspects or attributes about these fascinating and potentially dangerous animals. We want to make it interesting and exciting for viewers, and teach them something about these intriguing creatures they don’t already know.

So if you have any information what so ever on African rock pythons and some interesting behavioural facts, or what you think would be particularly interesting for viewers, I would really love to hear from you.

]]> Just Talk RayRay http://www.redtailboa.net/forums/just-talk/64156-side-oroject.html no http://www.redtailboa.net/forums/just-talk/64153-if-wasnt-bad-luck.html Fri, 23 Jul 2010 04:38:52 GMT okay for those of you who know and dont know...i finished my training for salvation army manager and they sent me to a new store to manage, it has been a nighmare. lazy staff, the previous manager sent 5 people on vacation the week he left. me and another manager got sent there to get the store in shape. well they have a key holder whose job is just under management. they are next in line to become a manager and they do pretty much what managers do. the key holder was on vacation and just got back monday. i was warned about her and that she is pushy and bossy. i did not like her to much when i met her on tuesday. well today when i got to work people on the staff came to me complaining about how she treats them. i made it to the office and the other manager told me we were having a meeting about people complaining about the key holder. i left and went to do the banking. when i got back everyone was oiled in the office and the employees stated why they were upset with her.
the bric a brac department was furious cause she took their radio away today cause i guess a few months ago they got an email from corporate that customers complained about the musice the dock guys were playing. corporate said only 3 stations were allowed to be play. they consisted of old rock or new easy rock. the key holder was furious and said to us managers 'when the email came i got on a chair with all the employees around and i read the email to them and told them what stations they could listen to, well today they had that loud head banging evil rock playing! so i took their radio for a week' the other manager agreed they were not suppose to do this. then everyone looked at me to see what i thought about this head banging evil music that was being played and when i went to say something my cell phone rang. wellllllll i have chop suey as my ringtone! :faint: this is the part that plays

my purse was on my arm and my phone in it. no denying it was my phone playing the evil metal head banging music! :shock: i started blinking my eyes really quick and then i burst out laughing, so did many of the staff and the other manager! finally i said 'i like that kind of music but it is not appropriate to be played in a business.'
