Well the Little Degu has a name now the wife named her Sweet Pea. We also go her some new thing's for her enclosure seem's like money well spent!! See for yourself!!!

It's a Degu. They are along the same line of a Chincilla. They get about the size of a Guniea Pig. Here's the info on them!

Class: Mammalia
Order: Rodentia
Suborder: Caviomorpha
Family: Octodontidae
Genus: Octodon
Species: Octodon degus
They orignate from Chile.

Yeah man real friendly and not scared of anything!!! She would play with the dog if she would play back!!! I thought Boa's were bad about not liking to go back into their enclosure!! This thing fight's tooth and nail she love's to explore and run around!! Anyway here's 2 pic's to answer your question's she's sitting in my shirt pocket she love's to play and sleep there!!!
And believe it or not I can handle her and grab any of my snake's and never even have one of them get interested in the smell of her!!!
