african dormice

Here's a pic of one of my african dormice... they're a little rodent vaguely related to the squirrel. They act very much like north american squirrels, climbing and bouncing around - only they're tiny, only a few inches long, no including their bushy tail.



They are nocturnal, and really don't appreciate being woken during the day for pictures. I need to get some infrared shots of them at night or something.
