There is something really hypnotizing (but spooky) about a cute cuddly animal that looks almost as intelligent as a human. (And probably as intelligent as some of the guys I've dated.)

I use Nikon equipment. My current "workhorse" camera body is the D300. I don't remember which lens (or lenses) I used, most likely a 200mm or 300mm.
