I've had my leg violated by both animals.

Re: Does anyone have experience with wil cats??
lol well I have heard they enjoy peeing on everything so I guess. Im just looking for someone who has worked with both species Ive talked to alot of breeders but for the most part breeders are breeders and will tell you what they want so you make a purchase. I like the lynx more but the wife likes the bobcats more.

Are these available in the "normal" pet trade? Or is this a permit only like tigers and lions?

Re: Does anyone have experience with wil cats??
It all comes down to where you live. They are legal in most states but some counties and citys ban them. You would have to contact your local fish and game to find out with your state and hometown.

Re: Does anyone have experience with wil cats??
They really seem like the same animal. Outside of the obvious exterior differences, when it comes down to it, you have to figure personal identities. It's like picking a kitten out of the litter and hope you have an animal that'll become docile. (If that's what youre looking for)
Both are great animals, can't go wrong with either. My suggestions are, hide your flip flops, your hats and always wear jeans, no matter if these animals are "House animals" or animals kept in outdoor enclosures.
Hats just are safe with any medium/big cat.

Re: Does anyone have experience with wil cats??
ha.
Good luck with the choice. If it were me, I'd pick the lynx just because they look a bit different than just a big ol house cat.
