What a unique little animal. So...endearing.
Are they very social? That is, do they enjoy human interaction?

well, yes and no. I take mine out of her cage and let her run around my room at night sometimes. And i sit there, with her, and she basically uses me as a climbing thingy. If i have food in my hand shell come to that. She will not come if i call her, or make a noise calling her...she justs does what she wants. She'll let anyone pick her up and cuddle her, she just doesnt come TO you. there really awesome tho, and yes, they are quite unique.

America does not go abroad in search of monsters to destroy. She is the well-wisher to the freedom and independence of all. She well knows that by enlisting under other banners than her own, were they even the banners of foreign independence, she would involve herself beyond the power of extrication in all the wars of interest and intrigue, of individual avarice, envy and ambition, which assume the colors and usurp the standards of freedom. – John Quincy Adams (1821)

Re: hedgie cuteness!
My buddy had a hedgehog. He had a tunnel connecting two cages. At night you would hear him going back and forth, back and forth. They are unique, that's for sure. Also very sharp. I was holding him and he was startled so he puffed up real fast, sticking me. I laughed but it did hurt. Very cute animal you have there.

They're adorable animals!
I wanted one for a long time, but I think I'm happier from a distance.
I've gotten pricked before, and it's not bad.. It's their bite that hurts!!
