Well.. Are you keeping them as pets or as a food supply?

Aquariums work great with a fine mesh top so they can't slip out or chew through.
Aspen for bedding with some cardboard tubes in for hides.
And with mice, to get 4-5 a week, well, let's just say you will have plenty with at least two breedig colonies, 4 females per male.
If you have excess mice, if feeders, whack and freeze.
If pets, then sell the extras to a pet store or whack and freeze, hehe!

keeping them as feeders, of course not pets lol, so if i keep 4 females to a male in one cage, and when they have pinkies, do i need to remove the male, or are they different from hamsters and dont tend to eat the babies?

depends on the size of the cage and the male. sometimes even females will eat the babies...but usually that is because they tend to do population control in confined spaces. Breed away dude...freeze what you can't use right away. In fact...it's better to feed frozen/thawed anyway for many reasons. Plus..If you have surplus...there are many of us near by that will gladly take some off your hands

Could be mistaken..BUT I think that kade lives in GA and is near quite a few of the members there possibly. That's if Kade is the member I am thinking of

Go ahead and breed them...Just remember to "take care" of some of them before they get to large when breeding if you need smaller ones like pinks or such too.
