Another Cavy
Well, the plan was to get my nephew a Cavy for his birthday. So I got him the cage, the cavy and everything else and I was going to socialize it for a month before giving it to him. He gets the male and I get a female or two, then his gets to "visit" a couple times a year. Well, I get a call and my mom (who has custody of my nephew) decided that she didn't want something else for her to take care of. So now we have a pair of Cavies. My wife already named this one "Spike" because of his fur. So I guess we have two permenant resident Guinea Pigs now. She doesn't even get to LOOK at the babies lol

Very cute!  I love the ASF rats as well Between those and the pigs, you may be getting out of the snake hobby altogether if your wife sees their babies!
