Re: little diversity never hurt
She's a cutie. I had two female rats. They were the most sweetest rodents ever. Never bit me, always loved attention. They passed away from old age and sickness last summer
And unfortunatly, dad became allergic to them so I could never own anymore live rats

Re: little diversity never hurt
That's neat. I like rats.
.
I had one giant almost 400G rat that looked like something out of a horror film.. brown with black hairs that would stand up along his back.. but he was totally tame.. I'd let him climb on the racks while I was cleaning and feeding (he'd pee down on the other males, ha!). His name was Rat-man. Usually I have one or two favourites at one time or another.. but they all go to the Boa-god eventually..
.
Actually, all my rats are tame and good cage-rats. That's because in 100 generations of keeping them any one tthat bit or would run under the rack or whatever got fed to a boa!
.
Thanks for the pics..

Re: little diversity never hurt
First thing that comes to my mind is food lol
Sorry but not a huge rat fan, if I didn't have such bad allergies I'd probably have mine more as pets. I'm raising up a couple of females for breeders that look a lot like her. Shes very pretty though

lol I fell in love with one female that gave me small litters of babies and was going to be boa food. I think I will keep her around for a while now, just the sweetest thing. Not nearly as cute as your little girl though
