My friends have brought home a new lil fuzzy um hmm a chinchilla not sure of the spelling. Anyhoo its malnourished whats a quick fattener we can use to get Temple back in tip top shape? And is it true you have to have wood blocks in the cage? any info helps. Only thing I know about chinchillas is you have to provide him with a jar and some 'bathing sand' in it. Jar needs to be big enough for him to crawl into and roll around in. They don't bathe in water....
My guess about the wood blocks would be for them to chew on to keep their teeth shortened. They constantly grow like a rat's. Good luck with the lil guy!! [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif[/img]

Yea we got bath dust and a nice little hut for her so she can roll till her hearts content. Thanks for your input. Shes so thin the people that had her were only feeding her dogfood and nope no batheys either. SHe has a good home now though..
