Chipmunks
Hi,
I have just bought a pair of breeding chipmunks(they don't come cheap £55 each!). I am keeping them in a custom built enclosure which basically looks like a modified garden shed, the temperature in the day is about 10f higher than room temperature and they eat monkey nuts commercial pre-packed chipmunk food and veges. I was just wondering does anyone else own any chipmunks?

Hi,
No they are not for food, they for buisness and pleasure, you could sit for hours and watch them. there really funny. Good idea though if they have a runt in one of there litters i might see what my sand boa makes of it.

LOL almost everyone in the US has them. Just not as pets. mostly pests. They sometimes make such extravegant burrown under houses that they cause foundations to crack in some extreme cases.
Hmm if theres such a market for them over there i see you guys geting flooded with them real soon.lol
