2 day old orphaned kittens
I wasn't planning on doing any fostering this summer, but things never do work out as planned. 
I got a call from the Humane Society today asking if I could take some kittens. I've fostered three other litters in the past year and they thought that I might be willing to take one of 7 litters they got in today and needed foster homes for by six o'clock. It's definitely "kitten season" at the HS! They get an average of 25 kittens in daily, all in need of foster homes.
These two (a boy and a girl) are two days old. They were found with their mother, who won't feed them. We bottle feed them every two hours (yes, all night too!). Fosters must be over 8 weeks and 2lbs in order to be spayed/neutered and then adopted. It depends on the situation, but normally mother cats begin to wean their kittens at 3 to 4 weeks.
Here's me trying to get the male (the loud one, of course) to take some formula.

I would play the videos but I just got my kitten Phoenix to stop "talking" and go to sleep lol don't wanna wake him

Fair warning, my dogs came running immediately! I was surprised they fell for it!  I had a hard time convincing my Ital. greyhound, I had to show her my desk....

Ok gave in and took my laptop to another room and watched the videos. They are sooooo cute! BTW HerpHappy it did wake up my Boston Terrier who looked at me like you-did-not-bring-another-kitten-here lol

Thanks guys! They did make it through the night, which is a huge relief. They're eating and pooping on time every two hours. I'm hoping things continue to go so smoothly!
They are now 3 days old.

OMG, that is sooooo adorable. He didn't want to eat; maybe he just wanted to cuddle. So precious! Great job on the rescue. I'm glad there are people like you.
On a side note, my snakes went crazy when they saw the video. (ha ha just kidding).

Thanks, everyone. They're pretty cute. It's amazing how, at only 3 days old, they each have such distinctive personalities! The loud one (on second inspection I believe them both to be male) never stops talking, even if he's just eaten as much as his belly can hold, and is always fighting. He can get around pretty well for a little thing with tiny legs and no sight! The second is a sweetheart. I'll put him on the ground to wash him up and he'll climb up onto my hands and fall alseep right there!

They remind me so much of my B&W cat, Destructo. She was born on my bed 17 years ago on May 1 and was climbing into my bed cuddling with me since she was a few days old.

My cat Faye went CRAZY listening to the first video... She was walking in circles around my laptop, then chirping and staring at me really confused! At one point she started digging under the laptop... I guess she thought the kitten was underneath?!
They're adorable, great work with them!
