New baby

I got this little kitten today from someone on Craigslist who found it 2 days ago. She is about 3 weeks old and the person was feeding her adult wet cat food just to keep her alive. I got her formula and will be supplementing kitten food with it. She is super sweet. She has a few cuts on her and a cut on her nose but looks like she'll heal up every well.


I call her Pandemonium (Pan or Panda for short) my 5 year old nephew has dubbed her Gumdrop lol



I'll post more pictures of her once I get my camera out. This was taken with my webcam on my laptop.

adorable! but looks a lot older then 3 weeks O_O My 2 abandoned kittens looked younger then that at 5 1/2 weeks old >.> does she have teeth? Also her eyes are changed... babies have blue eyes... My kitties eyes are just now changing at 7-8weeks

Her eyes are still sort of blue the picture makes them look more green cus of the bad lighting. As for teeth she has some but they are still coming in.

And I'll take her to the vet asap then I'll have a better age on her. The girl I got her from said she took her to the vet for a check up and the vet said around 3 weeks maybe 4 weeks old

I just looked up eye color and it says it can change as early as 4 weeks so the kitten might be 4 weeks.

that kitteh has HUGE ears I still think she's a little older then 3 weeks :P Her face doesn't look young kittenish if that makes sense O_o

Both my kittehs have huge ears lol. I was thinking probably closer to 4 almost 5 weeks since she doesn't have the molars they are supposed to get at 6 weeks and she can't jump and still falls over when walking.

Lol I love the wobbly stage and the playful stages lol. I have another kitten here that is 5 months old and they met for the first time tonight lol it was amusing they looked at each other like they didn't know what the other one was.

I have been supplementing her food with formula and since she's been drinking it (3 times a day) and eating kitten wet food watered down with formula (also 3 times a day) she has become much more alert and active and talkative. When I got her she was very lethargic.

yes Herphappy it is so gratifying! Especially since the person I got her from said she was going to take her to the pound and chances are she'd be put down cus of how young and lethargic she was.

I agree 100% although she wasn't so much a throw-away as a found but unable to keep pet. The girl found her but her apartment complex wouldn't let her keep her so she had to get rid of her right away.

Turns out our little kitty is actually a BOY lol. I believe this kitten to be from at least the vicinity of a local fire (apartment complex that recently burned) or some how he got burned. His fur is singed and before getting cleaned up (with baby wipes) he smelled like singed hair and smoke. He has gotten much bigger and stronger in my care and the wounds he had (couple cuts that upon further inspection look to be more like small burns) have healed nicely.

The kittens new official name..... Phoenix ... from the ashes a new life arises
