Shave Him
Shave him may not have been the best choice of words to use when I brought my cocker spaniel to the groomer.

Re: Shave Him
LOL I used to have a white cocker-spaniel as a kid in Florida. We would shave her every summer. Helped a lot with the ticks and fleas.

ROFL! omg...i am so sorry for that dog right now. some groomer's you have to be specific with. ask them which blades they plan on using next time. i'm sorry but that pic is just hilarious to me.

They asked me if I wanted a cocker cut, a puppy cut or a shave.
I said shave figuring that would just cut it a little.
Shave evidently means take off ALL the hair.

Re: Shave Him
Yeah. Its actually not un-common to shave cocker-spaniels. I have seen it quite a bit.

Re: Shave Him
I think cocker spaniels look better with more hair...but that's just my opinion.

Good thing you didn't say "bikini wax" him.

Neither have I. He doesn't even look like the same dog.
Here he is with normal hair over the winter.

Re: Shave Him
Awwww lol, yeah they look so different with no hair! I cut my own dog's hair in the warmer months.
Next time if you just want an allover "trim" get a puppycut.
