Favourite Dog Breed?
I've been on a dog kick lately and being all sad about Ontario's Pit Bull ban... I've decided that "Pit Bulls" and related mixes are one of my favourite breed of dog.
What're yours? Pics are welcomed.
Mine are:
*Pics are not mine*
Agouti Siberian Husky
German Shepherd
Staffordshire Bull Terrier
English Bulldog
Doberman Pinscher
Clumber Spaniel
I think that's about it. lol

Re: Favourite Dog Breed?
I like all kinds of dogs so I really can't pinpoint a favorite, even the ones I own. The only thing is I would rather not own is any sort of small dogs as in 40lbs or less. I had the opportunity to meet an African Boerboel over the Easter holiday at my in-law's neighbors house, very impressive dog. I never heard of that breed before. Pretty neat.

I used to think that too. Then I started working at a veterinary hospital and I just fell in love with some of their personalities. I still love huge dogs but a few of the smaller breeds have stolen my heart.
And I completely forgot about my African loves! (That's what I get for posting at 3.15 in the morning lol.) Boerboels and Rhodesian ridgebacks. Beautiful beasts.

Re: Favourite Dog Breed?
I think I'd have to go with an Italian Greyhound. I'm a sucker for those long faces. Pugs and chihuahuas are pretty cute too.

Re: Favourite Dog Breed?
I have to say it. I know this is favorite dog thread but I LOVE most large dogs and can't stand anything that is yippy. VERY few small dogs interest me at all. I like the little Italian greyhouds. they are cute. but, and I blame my mom lol, I can not stand most small dogs. anything that yips and is annoying. omg... I do not wish harm on ANY animal but those kind of dogs make me want to punt them >.< I grew up with a min pin and I HATE that dog. I have neve dislkied an animal so much. I think it's because my mom never trained her and she wil bite you if you are in "her spot" and she is ungodly obese due to massive over feeding. maybe if I ever have a good experience with a small dog I'll change my mind. but yea...

Re: Favourite Dog Breed?
All time favorite breed is the Roman Rottweiler...the giant ones!! Next comes...Newfoundlands, Bernese Mountain Dogs, Great Pyrenesse. Greater Swiss, Dobermans, Rhodesian Ridges and Malamutes. I love basically any big breed of dogs. I don't mind little dogs, I HATE yippy dogs. I'm really starting to love Beagles too =)
