Angry Tape worm!!!
Well....I had to treat my dog for a tape worm today after an accident in the house caused me to discover something moving in his stool Sucks!

If it was the littel "rice sized" tapeworm, then they are from fleas. It takes one for him to ingest and then 6 weeks later... tapeworm.

when I adopted my two girls they BOTH had tapeworm. Poor things were so bloated... I couldn't eat rice for a few weeks after too.

Exactly! It looked like grains of rice around the stool. I looked close and one of the pieces of rice seemed to look like a mini white/cream colored leach when it moved. Startled me when I saw it. Took him straight to the vet and got his meds started!

Ahh the joys of puppies!! lol - Drontal will clear those tapes up for you (with drontal plus do you have to repeat the dose in 2 weeks or no?) and getting rid of the fleas will help prevent them in the future
