Alessa the Ferret
My little baby is growing up.
For being fed twice a day as compared to my old ferrets who were free-fed, SHE'S HEFTY. She's all muscle and she doesn't smell like ferrets on cat food or even ferret food. Her poops don't smell either.
Her diet consists of beef, chicken, lamb, turkey, quail, pork, rats, mice and rabbit. She has a few bad habits though... She likes to eat litter and put her food in her litter box. So, to deter her from munching on things she's not supposed to, she gets chicken jerky for dogs to gnaw on.

Re: Alessa the Ferret
I think weasels (that's what I call them) are about the cutest things on the planet. In an indirect way, they are actually responsible for getting me into the snake habit.

Re: Alessa the Ferret
Surprisingly, she doesn't smell unless you've stuck your nose up against her or her bedding.
And how so, Star?

lol I see.
I just added on another level to her cage. The bottom is mostly for eating.
And one more just for fun.

When I lived in Boulder, I used to always visit this small pet shop just outside the city limits that had weasels. I love to play with them and let them climb in my shirt and up in my hair. It was adorable. Eventually, I moved to Denver and didn't make it up that way too often. But one day I was in town, so I stopped by that shop to play with the weasels, or whatever furry animals they had. They didn't have any weasels, but they had a baby boa. That's how it all started.
