Ruger and Kriger (DUW)

Here are our 2 boys. Ruger is a 8 year old West German Shepherd Dog and is has been retired for a year and a half now. Kriger is our 5 year old Belgian Malinois and right in his prime.

Katie running Ruger through his last trial ever. Her first his last. We were there for a trial for Kriger and Ruger was acting a bit spunky, so I asked Katie if she wanted to bring him out of retirement for one last run. She did the beginner level (less agility and easier on his body) For having done no bite work or training in over 9 months and being the oldest dog on the field in the class by almost double... he placed 7th out of 23 or 24 dogs.

Haha Thanks Morti. K-man is a great little pup. Quite a goof ball and the last dog you would expect to be a biting dog.

Here are some new photos from this weekend. Kriger was able to hang out with his beau, Grimm, and do some bite work on dad.

A little blurry.. but here is one of the many differences between a Mal and a GSD. It's like comparing a Ferrari to a Pickup truck. ROPE!

Definitely got bit for side stepping him here. Kriger likes to charge decoys and chest bump them with out slowing down. If the dog knocks you down... he's allowed to bite (you moved)... once on the ground though legs and torso are some mighty tastey bits and standing up I can at least feed him my sleeved arm.

Why yes dad... I would love to bite you! Om nom nom...

He's a pretty decently sized boy... now a days he's hovering in the 90-95 lbs range. Before I retired him and he started getting the old man wilt going on, he averaged around 105lbs summer weight and 110-115lbs winter weight. He's lost a ton of muscle

i used to know a kid who had a dog almost identical to krieger, his dog was soooo bad though lol. he was a big pooch to when he barked people stopped
