Re: it sucks being so nice
I raised some kitties from 3 weeks of age. Pretty much all I did was take pictures of them and post them on websites like Pet-Classified and Pet-Finder and then interviewed the people once they came by and saw them, and if they were a good fit, I let them take them home.
I kept one of the kittens, got rid of the mother (she was an outside cat and was just so fidgety and everything - the kittens were already litter trained and weened by 3 weeks old), and gave the other two to good homes. One went to a couple for their mom on mothers day, and the other went to a teenage girl who lost her older cat.

Re: it sucks being so nice
Watch their eyes and get them their shots. They can get mange PRETTY bad when they are kittens. I am pretty sure you can buy their first shots at a local pet store, they are very easy to give because you just have to get the medicine under the skin. Careful of Worms also because that will make for a SERIOUS kitten mess. If they have bad Diahrea you can sometimes see the worms in their stool, looks kinda like they passed a whole fettuccine noodle but thinner.

Re: it sucks being so nice
Let the mama do her thing. Give her plenty of her own privacy, don't bother her too much. When you do check on her and the kittens, just be sure she hasn't pushed any out of the "nest", and that they all are warm. That's about it. If any are sick, you will notice it. If any are potentially terminally sick, the mom will push them out of the nest.
Make sure she's nursing, and spending most of her time with the kittens. Outside of that, she should have everything perfectly under control.
Also - get her onto a high protein diet. I recommend "Indigo Moon" by solid gold. The less Ash in a food the better. Remember - the food the mother eats directly reflects the quality of food the kittens are getting. Indigo Moon is only $12 per bag, it should last 2-3 weeks. Keep her food and water dishes full and clean, with a litterbox nearby her "nest".
If you have any more questions, feel free to ask me.

Re: it sucks being so nice
Please don't try to vaccinate these guys yourself. The vaccine sold through feed stores is not always handled correctly, and if left to sit on a hot loading deck, it can go bad very quickly. I used to work as a vet tech in a farm town where lots of people vaccinated their own dogs, and yet Parvo was still pretty common in these same dogs. It's worth the money to have them checked out by a good vet. I would also wait until they are at least 6 weeks old to find them homes. Even if they are weaned, they need that social time to learn proper social behavior. Often kittens taken away from mom do not learn that it's not ok to bite, and can be dominant, difficult kitties to handle.
