Well, today I got my new scale, so the first thing I did? Threw the kitten in it.
362 grams. She has started regaining color, and is still full of vim and vigor. *fingers crossed* I'll be weighing her twice a day to monitor her progress. I'll be posting it all here as well, so you guys can keep your eyeballs on her, too.  |

I'm so glad I came in on this thread after the little kitten's recovery. Xeike, you are really like and angel for all animals. I hope this kitten makes a full recovery. I know if anyone can save him, you can.

Trying to. She's still with her mom, who is also looking a touch better. She's still lactating well for the kitten, so we'll see how it goes.

Awww, I'm sorry I've been so busy that I missed this thread. You are so genuine and loving to the animals you help. I've told friends of mine about your racoon and the kittens, and all of the help you have given them...and one friend asked, "is this like a friend from Highschool"....and I said, "not from highschool, but a friend who I will meet eventually cause she rules". Hugs!
fingers crossed as well. Any other vet you can go to?

Thank you...
This morning, the kitten weighed 374 grams. Right now, she weighs 368.
Wish I knew when exactly momma cat was feeding her so I could get a more accurate reading. :\
She's developing really pretty green eyes. The color of her gums is about the same as yesterday, so there's no drastic improvement. We've decided her permanent name will be Charity. Lucky is over-rated, Misty is too common, and Quado is just out of the question.
Her back legs seem a bit bowed, but not so much as the other kitten1s' legs had. Plus, that seems to be getting better as she gets bigger.888888
She's now five weeks old1, and acting much more like a normal kitten. Point in case, she555555's walking all over my keyboard despite my protestationssssssss.
My vet is saying not to get my hopes up, but I've already named her.
