update on Miko

for people who dont know about miko. my daughter works at a vet clinic and the vet she works for found miko on his doorstep one morning. his wife is the manager at the clinic and she hates cats. she brought miko to work and asked if the workers would take turns taking him home and caring for him. my daughter was third on the list and nobody ever got a turn again. she has been a cat lover since she was 2. the vet found the mother cat and kittens a few days later. the mother carried miko to the doorstep and dropped him off. she cared for the other kittens.
here is miko 3-5 days old. my daughter got up with him every 4 hours to feed him.




miko is now over a month old and sleeps longer between feedings. devin no longer has to wipe his butt with a warm rag to get him to go potty. he still sleeps in his cat carrier and we are trying to get him to use the liter box
when devin is at work and i am hime i have to care for him. caring for him makes me remember why i like snakes sooo much.

LOL, so funny, if you have known Louise for any length of time, you might remember how she complained all the time about Devins cat when they lived in MI. She even tried to kill it by duct taping inside it's litter box when she moved from MI to GA. So it is so funny to see how even the hardest heart can melt under those cute big eyes of Miko.

lol scott. it is impossible not to love the little bugger. he thinks we are his parents and if we leave the room he screams and runs after us as fast as he can. sometimes he dont make the turn and slams into the wall and does a tumble or two.

that is the first time i met kat and when we did that we both sat on my grass and laughed so hard we couldn't move! i knew me and her were gonna get along then.
