She's very calm and chillaxed when she's held or laying around my shoulders, but gets a bit flighty when she's put on the ground lol... It's obvious why I named her Pepper It's difficult keeping her still long enough to get any decent pics.

This guy had the worst attitude when I first got him, I could have never gotten that close for a pic. He used to try and take shots at my face. Now he's probably one of my mellowest bcc.

f) Anything else you would like to tell us about your critter: Very vocal girl for several months. She has calmed down considerably since and of all my Peru boas, she's among the best tempered now. I have a feeling she will me one of my nicer looker adults. Oh, and she's a goof ball.

f) Anything else you would like to tell us about your critter: She wasn't a very good eater when she was young. She escaped at 7 months old. At 6 weeks I gave up looking and gave her tank to another snake. After 9 weeks I found our cat playing with her! When I went to pick her up she struck and me but quickly decided I was the better option (than the cat) and slithered up into my hand. She only lost 13g in the 9 weeks and gained 11g of that back in a few days. She's been a great eater since, going from 60g to 525g in the last 11 months.

f) Anything else you would like to tell us about your critter: This is my favorite photo of my guy. He is my first herp I bought on my own. I got him when I was 17 and I wanted an easy keeper. He is a fun little guy, who loves to eat as you can see and chase my bare toes as I walk by his enclosure every morning before work since it's at floor level! He would love to have a taste! Keeping him helped me learn about reptiles more and now I'm learning how to keep larger and more advanced species such as boas. He'll definitely be around for a long time.
