a) Name:Ruby
b) Species: Northern Redbelly Cooter
c) Age: 10-12 years
d) Length/Weight: 12" carapace length and around 5-8lbs (haven't weighed)
e) Time in your collection: 10+/- years
f) Anything else you would like to tell us about your critter: Ruby likes to imagine she can fly sometimes. lol She's an absolute sweetie that I've had for many years, and doesn't mind me getting up close and personal to take pics of her, chillout with her and watch her. She's finally mature enough now to lay eggs (as she has laid a few already) and she loves to come up to me and mooch for food. She's also a big veggie eater/bottomless pit and could devour every single plant possible in my fish pond if she got the opportunity to escape her turtle pond and venture over... lol And last but not least she loves treats of strawberries, hibiscus flowers and plenty of collard, romaine and spring greens.
