This is one of my Pucallpa, Peru babies..
.

.
She's 3-1/2 years old in that pic from early this year. There are visual clues that tell whether or not BCC females (and males) are sexually mature. It's hard to spot them if you don't have a lot of experience looking at BCC females during their development. There's no way to teach this but it has to do with where the weight is in her body plus head-size and even colouration. Despite her substantial size she is not yet ready to be bred.
.
That is going to be a large Pucallpa Boa.
.
Gus.

Here's something that might be important to show in a big-boa page..
.

.
.. a 3 meter Peru female gave me that for wanting to look at her babies.. she bit down and released and wasn't upset or fussy about it.. just a love-tap so to speak. There's a matching set of cuts on the underside of my arm.
.
Oh yes, it did bruise and swell up and ache for a week. All snakes over the size of something like Leptotyphlops can and will bite. If yours hasn't then it only awaits the proper set of circumstances and it will.
.
Be safe!

I once got over 40 stitches on one hand from an Anaconda bite...

Those things aren't pets.

Well some of them arent. I have two that will bite but the other six are pretty tame. My big girl is more tame then all my burms and retics. I trust her more then any of them. And my retics and burms are super tame. But annies can be very aggressive.
