Bull Snake?
This girl came in as a rescue today. Looks like a Bull, they said it was a Gopher. She is fat, happy and about 4.5'. I don't have all the much experience with pits and the Gophers and Bulls are so close. So I need a possitive ID. I think she is a bull, maybe a bullxGopher. **shrug**
Anyway, what's the verdict? (Western herpers, I am looking in your direction )

sonaran gophers usually have a much more slender head, also gophers dont generally get as large as bulls, but that one does have some gopherish looking blotches down towards the end, but I would still say its a bull.
do you know where it came from?

That is a nice looking bull snake, BW. How is his temperment? the only bulls i ever run across are wild, and they are meaner than sh*t.

It bears a striking resemblance to my sonoran gopher male, but the head is not the same, a little shorter and broader. I knew bulls and gophers were alot alike in appearance, but never knew they were that similar. Cool pics, BW
