Indigos are such beautiful snakes. They look like cobras without a hood.

Re: Seven foot Indigo snake...
Gus you kill me on a regular basis. If there were mountains to ski down there I could see myself living in brownsville. Great snake and it looks like the Drymarchon are fairing pretty well down in south Texas, I hope the masses don't head that way after totally destroying Florida.

I WANTS! I know I already posted on this thread but Indigos are just so gorgeous. They don't look real. I would love to have one...

There are fewer and fewer places to herp here everyday.. it's a problem we all share. The winter is starting to have an effect down here, but it rarely gets so cold that you couldn't go find something if you absolutely HAD to..
.
I use a couple of point-and shoot Sony digital cameras, one uses a floppy disc! .. here's at least one photo of an Indigo that I did not take (was too busy)..

Pretty much anybody who calls themself a herper will at one time or another want an Indigo snake pet (or ten).. I had an Indigo snake as my very first pet snake! They are just about as neat a thing as they look! .. which isn't always true of things we see.
.
Beware that Indigo snakes and their relatives are not the easiest .. they need space, (they are real crap-rockets too) and they can be nervous captives, sometimes refusing food and many injure themselves.. There's a lot of interest in them and they are pricey.. so far I haven't personally seen that many people taking really good care of them.. many seem way too fat or have rubbed-off snouts and what-not. Kudos to those who do it right.
.
One more..
.

.
Have fun, be safe.
