Sunbeam Pictures
These aren't really colubrids or pythons, but they are awesome little snakes

Re: Sunbeam Pictures
How are they in captivity? I've heard they're very hard to keep.
But they are absolutely GORGEOUS. I had no idea there was a new world/old world variety. Great pictures, too!

Re: Sunbeam Pictures
The Loxocemus are CBB. They are pretty hard to find. They take 6+ years to reach sexual maturity. I think a lot of people just don't want to put the time into them.
The Xenopeltis are wild caught, but have done wonderfully for me in captivity. I've had my 2.1 group for well over a year now. The Xeno pictured is the only one I handle. He is a total freak of nature and loves getting out and exploring.
They've been pretty easy for me honestly. I heard all the horror stories and was worried, but I've had a very good experience with them and will definitely get a few more in the future!
