Corn snake/Eastern milk snake comparision
All right my friends I have a question for you. What exactly are the differences between a Corn snake and an Eastern milk snake? I can tell the difference, but when asked to explain the difference I couldn't come up with a very good one. So I am asking you to help me compare the two.

Re: Corn snake/Eastern milk snake comparision
hmm.. well, I'll tell you what i think, but I'm sure i'll be corrected, lolz.
Eastern milks are usually darker, with more earth-tone color, they're brown and greyish, i think. Corn snakes (normal ones, at least) are redish and orangish.
I do believe that Eastern Milks tend to have a "Y" or "V" pattern on the back of their heads

Re: Corn snake/Eastern milk snake comparision
the obvious difference is the head
milks have that short barely offset head, and corns have that skinny neck that leads up to a more offset larger head with bigger eyes.
you put them side by side, and there is no comparison... at least not to me.
I have an eastern milk, i'll post pics when I get home.

well for one panterophis are larger, buliker and for the most part more docile. And lampropepeltis is smaller, thinner and more flippy except for kings. willl post a photo comparison
