Emergency!!!!!
My Taiwan beauty snake was in shed and I was putting some Duct tape on his large tupper wear container he came out and got stuck on the tape. I ran him and the tape under water but a little shed came off. He is still in the blue phase and help would be appriciated. It examined the snake and he looked clear. But I would like to know what you think or what I should do!!!!

Re: Emergency!!!!!
okay, besides asking why on earth you would choose duct tape to do ANYTHING in a herp enclosure
did it seem to pull any live scales off? or just the about to be shed skin?

Re: Emergency!!!!!
then keep him on a sterile substrate (paper towels) until the shed comes off just to help avoid any possible infection.
I'd avoid misting, but keep him fairly humid.
And loose the duct tape, seriously
Dude.....

Re: Emergency!!!!!
I use it because the container he is in is loose on the ends. What do you think will happen?

Re: Emergency!!!!!
you dont want to deal with duct tape stuck to a snake, dude. it's just a bad idea.
I'll be the first to admit the amazing ability of duct tape, but it has no place around herps.

Re: Emergency!!!!!
k, now leave him alone till he's done shedding, unless of course he leaves a stinky present for you on the paper.
