my coachwhip has not eaten in 4 weeks! when i took him to the vet he cheaked out with a clean bill of heatlh and hes as hyper as ever. so whats the deal!?

I wouldn't be too concerned. Some snakes fast every now and then. Has he lost weight or condition that you can tell?

not that i can tell but i would just asume that a snake with a high matabilizem would be eating a lot mare than this.

the is one of the downfalls of snake keeping. they just stop eating sometimes and you worry yourself sick and then out of the blue they eat again. i would not be to concerned if i was you

if its a male, he's probably entered in breeding season and not interested in food.
My adult male stops eating from between march and june usually.
He will still eat occasionaly, but maybe 1 in every 3 times.
he usually will eat two adult mice, but during that time, he will usually only eat one.
as long as its not followed by weight loss, I would not be concerned, yet.

Is it possible its the snakes natural breeding season?.....I think colubrids breed this time of the year.
