Drooling snake
A couple hours after I got my Taiwan for some unknown reason he started drooling. He only did it when I picked him up. He also made a very small hiss. Could he have hade a drink and then when I picked him up he spit out the water or could it be RI? I shur hope not.

Re: Drooling snake
They aren't really that prone to respiratory infections, but I would recommend not handling the snake for at least a few days to let it get settled in to its new home.
It is possible that it was water, but only likely just after he/she took a drink.
I'd watch the snake for a few days, but you may also want to drop Bill a note asking about it just to cover your bases there.

Re: Drooling snake
If it was watery like and not mucus then it was probably water. I would just keep an eye on hm. The other day I went to get gabriel out and he was headed back into his hide. He had just went to his dish and got a drink. When I picked him up he let all the water out and slobbered like a baby. I asked him if he needed to get burbed too. lol
