size of mexican milksnake

does anyone know how big a mexican milksnake will grow as ana adult. i got this little one a yuear ago and he was around 9 inches long, a little fella, and i was curious how big he was going to get eventually. this is my wifes snake, and he is gentle and docile as can be. i plan on building him a 3x2x2 foot enclosure.

The milk snakes around where I live typically stay around 32 inches, but a Mex Milk is considerably larger... Don't be surprised if he gets to 5 feet, although 40-46 inches would be more average, methinks...

If it's a true Mexican milk snake (Lampropeltis triangulum annulata) then 30 inches should be about the max. size it should get.
