what am I part III
hint:
we're from a small island in Indonesia, and we are not collected hardly ever, and imported even less frequently.

Re: what am I part III
lol...
the use of the word "corn" in a common name on an island where they don't grow it may not be best place to start, but your not too off base as far as relation to US cornsnakes.

Re: what am I part III
I do see how it could resemble a persica.. close......
I would say it probably fills the same niche in its island habitat that the persica does in Europe

Re: what am I part III
Is that an adult or does it go through an ontological change? Also in the last pic it looks brown or is it darker like in the other pics?

Re: what am I part III
one is a female, and she is a melanistic which occurs naturally with this species.
the second is the male, as adults they have the same pattern , but will lighten alot with age.

Re: what am I part III
oh.... soooo close
if you go by the current assignment of Colegnathus, then you are in the right genus.
but much much rarer than a flavolineata
