and as far as common name goes.. wolf snake is correct....
NOW...
whats the genus/species
since there are several snakes called "wolf snakes" that cover several genus's (yet another argument to abandon common names) that won't be as easy to find.

as babies they are tiny.
they get 4-6ft long.
