Im gonna start a corn breeding project and I have some questions on the different morphs. I did a search on the internet and couldnt find answers to these questions.
What phases when mixed produce what? I want to produce a blizzard but I dont really know how. I know the best way to produce them is by getting a pair and breeding but I want to produce my own that are offspring from something other than a blizzard? Im guessing it has something to do with the snow morph.
Are there any good websites that I can look at that might have some sort of table that shows the different results from the different crossings? I understand there is some level of selective repeat crossing that takes place to ontain a perfect new morph but I just want to know the basics.

Look Here: http://www.serpenco.com/cultivars/blizzard.html
Rich Z. is one of the first people to actually produce blizzard corns. Intresting reading.

That is really interesting. I guess I will just have to get lucky if I want to produce a blizzard and I better get some ghost or charcoal corns too.
Thanks Morti.
Are there any other sites that tell what the different combinations can produce?

Rich is definitely one of the best, if not the best, in the biz.
You may want to check out his forums at www.cornsnakes.com/forums. There is a specific forum there dealing with the various cultivars of corns.

Try this link. you input the known genetics of what you intend to breed and it wil calculate the probable outcome of all the babies. It's pretty cool. G. Wiz

I've got one for you, try http://home.epix.net/~nspencer/cornprog.html . It's a downloadable program that will tell you the probable outcome of any corn breeding program.
And I also suggest getting "The Corn Snake Manual" by Bill and Kathy Love, it has tons of useful information. You can get it or any corn snake your heart desires from
http://www.corn-utopia.com/ . Hope this helps.

Here's one you might want to check out...
Corn Snake Morphs.com
Take a look at the Photo Gallery and the Genetics Info section especially.
Hope this information helps!
