Not good...
Anyone have any suggestions on where a 11 oz 14 inch baby corn might hide?
I put them into a new tank a few days ago, sliding lid, and didnt think he could get out! Apparently I was wrong. I've seen no remains, so I dont think the cats got him, they're kittens and dont try to eat things like that, but thats not definate.

Re: Not good...
follow along the walls in the immediate area around the cage... they usually move against something not right into the open.
best way is to just clean your house i think good luck
i've never been able to find a snake effectively... usually just check everywhere.
I've found a snake in her feeding tote, in a box of empty bottles, crawling along the wall in a hallway after cleaning the house.

Re: Not good...
Those sliding-top lids are great.. so long as they're closed properly. Friend of mine lost a Taramahura kingsnake with one of those because the lid hadn't been properly clicked shut, and the little bugger managed to squeeze through the tiny little gap at the back of the cage. Unfortunately she never found the snake..
but your best bet would be to clean the house, especially around the immediate area. Check closets, the toes of shoes, little boxes, even something like electronics that have holes big enough to squeeze into. Anything that has a hole, and a nice little 'cave' big enough for the snake to get into, especially along the wall, check it out.. 'cuz snakes'll go anywhere. Make sure you plug any holes under the sink, leading along the water-pipes and whatnot so if she gets into the cupboards she won't be long gone at least..
